The snow cat is tracked throughout the entire grooming shift using the on board DGPS receiver.
Grooming trajectory is stored on CatWorks mobile computer. Information such as location, speed, time, and elevation are logged every second. Groomed area and trail names are also obtained from the data and shown to the operator as messages on the lightbar in the vehicle.

Cat Works navigation system provides the operator with driving ques such as hazard avoidance and first pass navigation.
End of Grooming Shift
Grooming data and shift information are automatically transferred to the slope managers office computer.
End of Day Reports
Data transferred from snow cats are automatically loaded into Resort Works and quickly converted into grooming reports and updated maps with grooming tracks overlaid on a background map of the resort.
